Mari Luz Brownrigg-Gleeson holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture from the Technical School of Architecture (ETSAM) at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. While doing her Master´s, she worked as a part-time research assistant at the Transportation Research Centre (TRANSyT), contributing to EU Horizon 2020 Project SCALE-UP. She is an active member of the EELISA-on the MOVE Community. At present she is doing her PhD in the Civil Engineering Systems Program at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, supervised by Professor Andrés Monzón. Her main areas of research revolve around urban planning and active modes of transportation, especially proximity-based planning models. She participates in diverse research projects, undertaking various tasks such as mobility measure evaluation planning and international dissemination activities.
