Next 9 and 10 of December it will be the 2nd workshop of TEA Cost Action TU1209 on "Equity Analysis and Assessment. Bringing together different data and evidence" at Wijnhaven 110, 3011WV Rotterdam. Building of the City of Rotterdam, Department City Surveillance Room 2.02.
It will foucs on three mains subject related with Transport planning and equity:
- Equity assessment of large scale infrastructure: the challenge for the two panel groups is to explore how the equity impacts of such large-scale infrastructure projects could be assessed in a systematic way, drawing on the ideas developed in the COST Action.
- Equity assessment of land use projects: the aim of the second case study is to explore how considerations of equity could be introduced in the exploration of possible development opportunities for specific re-development sites in Rotterdam.
- Addressing the mobility needs of groups at risk of accessibility poverty: The aim of the third case study is to explore how small-scale transportation interventions could be assessed in a systematic way from an equity perspective.
