Carlos Romero is an Assistant Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he started teaching in 2019 as a TA, in the area of Railways. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (UPM, 2022) and has been part of the TRANSyT-UPM research team since 2017. His research focuses on metropolitan mobility, especially on benefits of ICT for passengers; and also on railway planning and engineering. He was awarded with the Young Researcher Award at the 14th Transport Engineering Conference (CIT2021).
