Rosa Picón García is a climate change specialist with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (University of Granada) and a Master’s of Science in Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen. During her postgraduate studies, she gained research experience in Arctic environments, contributing to field data collection on biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) in Abisko, Sweden.

She currently works as a researcher at the Transportation Research Centre (TRANSyT) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where she is involved in European projects on transport decarbonisation. Her work includes data collection and validation, technical reporting, and the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to support climate adaptation and low-emission mobility strategies. She is particularly interested in developing solutions that improve people’s quality of life while contributing to a more sustainable and resilient planet.
