Natalia Sobrino Vázquez holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the UPM. She is the co-founder of HERA (Huella Energética de opeRación de Autopistas) together with Andrés Monzón and Sara Hernández, a project that was born at the TRANSyT-UPM Transport Research Center, and which was a finalist in the XII Actúaupm Competition.

HERA is an application that allows the calculation of energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from highway traffic.
