From 5 to 7 June 2019, TRANSyT researchers participated in the 15th NECTAR Biannual Conference presenting their papers.
The NECTAR (Network on European Communications and Transport Activities Research) brings together researchers in the field of transport, communication and mobility from all European countries and the rest of the world.
This year, the NECTAR conference was organized under the title "Towards cities on a human scale – Open and happy" to reflect the new requirements of urban transport.
In this edition, NECTAR also had the participation of Mikael Colville-Andersen and Professor Tim Schwanen, world-renowned speakers, who addressed mobility on a human scale from the points of view of designer and researcher.
More than 140 scientific presentations explore advances in the field of transport, communication and mobility, with a particular focus on good quality mobility options for people.
On behalf of TRANSyT, Andrés Monzón de Cáceres, Elena Lopez Suarez, Julio Soria Lara, Iria Lopez Carreiro and Alessandra Boggio-Marzet participated, presenting five papers on different topics of sustainable mobility related to urban distribution of goods, accessibility and MAAS.
