Stay of the researcher Natalia Sobrino Vázquez at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).
Between March 2 and June 8, 2013, the doctoral student Natalia Sobrino is carrying out a research stay that contributes to completing her doctoral thesis.
From March 2 to June 8, 2013, the doctoral student Natalia Sobrino is carrying out a research stay financed with a grant for short stays abroad of the UPM in the Laboratory of Applied Thermodynamics -LAT- belonging to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). The research is carried out under the supervision of the laboratory director and Professor Zissis Samaras, an expert in vehicle emissions assessment and emissions inventory.
The work carried out has focused on the acquisition of a deep knowledge about the tools to estimate the emissions of the means of transport. This research has allowed the evaluation of energy consumption and emissions from road transport in Spain, as well as the policies carried out to reduce them. The work carried out by the doctoral student is part of the realization of her doctoral thesis.
