Jorge Bañuelos Gimeno has a degree in Environmental Sciences from the Autonomous University Madrid, since 2020, and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the same institution, completed in 2021. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Civil Engineering Systems at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, on the different impacts that mobility has on the environment and on people.

He has participated in several projects at both regional and national level, including E.MORES-CM, which explores strategies for resilient and sustainable passenger and freight mobility in Madrid post-COVID. More recently, he has joined the TIC-TIME project, which examines the influence of ICT on travel time use and productivity, as well as the effects of decarbonization on mobility, among others, which allowed him to start the development of his PhD thesis.

He has published several scientific articles in national and international scientific journals. He has participated in several conferences, both national and international, such as the Congress of Transport Engineering (CIT) or the Transport Research Arena (TRA).
