Oscar Martínez Alvaro is Professor of the Department of Transport, Territory and Urban Planning Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the same University and his thesis was declared of European interest by the EU Commission. He also holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from IESE (University of Navarra) and several diplomas in specialization courses. His lines of research are transport economics and sustainable mobility. Among the studies in which he has participated are those related to future transport scenarios at European level, the impact of new technologies on mobility, transport demand modeling, etc.
