Abid Al Akioui Sanz

Abid Al Akioui Sanz is a Civil Engineer (2021) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. During his studies he did a fellowship at the Transport Research Centre (TRANSyT) where he carried out different mobility studies focused on the impact of COVID-19 on mobility. He is currently a PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Madrid under the supervision of Professor Andrés Monzón. His doctoral thesis focuses on the study of LUTI (Land Use and Transport Interaction) models and their use for the definition of sustainable mobility strategies. He has participated in several research projects in which he has designed and coordinated different survey campaigns. In addition, he combines his research work with teaching collaborations at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
