Andrés Monzón is Professor of Transport at the Escuela de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, Rector’s Delegate for Sustainable Mobility and Coordinator of the MoviTUR-Mobility of the Future Cluster.
He has published books and book chapters, articles in scientific journals and contributions to national and international conferences. He has been director of doctoral theses in the areas of Transport Planning and Management. He has been responsible for competitive research projects, including projects of the European Union R&D Framework Program.
He was president of the Transportation Engineering Forum, member of the Scientific Committee of the Transportation Engineering Congress, the International Symposium Highway and Urban Pollution, the Pan-American Transportation Congress and the World Conference on Transport Research. He has worked as an expert in international institutions such as the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank.
